Introducing the Biblical-Principle Approach Homeschool Experience™ (Membership)!
My History with the Biblical-Principle Approach
In the early years of my Principle Approach® journey, I didn’t have a mentor and I didn’t have a local-to-me Principle Approach® community.
There were a couple of resources where I could email some questions . . . but it wasn’t quite like having a mentor (the internet wasn’t what it is today).
Slowly, over time, I pieced together how to apply the Principle Approach® philosophy and method from the materials I purchased. And, I started to blog about my journey which transitioned into teaching homeschool parents some of the “how to’s” of the Principle Approach®. So, one of my roles on the Chain of Christianity® is to help close those gaps for the Christian homeschool community. I’m thankful for this calling and to be able to serve.
Over the years, homeschool moms have peppered me with questions via email and they’ve been using my products to help them.
Fast forward to the past few years until present and I am blessed to have friendships with and mentoring by several of the original Master Teachers and by some individuals who have been directly trained under the original Master Teachers.
And that all got me thinking . . . wouldn’t it be great to create a community where the Principle Approach® is broken down for a homeschool setting, that brings experience to the table?
About the Biblical-Principle Approach Homeschool Experience™
Here’s what it’s becoming.
It’s a place for like-minded parents to learn the ins and outs of easily applying the Biblical-Principle Approach in their homeschools (daily life and learning).
It saves busy homeschool parents time (after all, you aren’t a “career teacher” in a school).
It spares you the frustration of trying to learn all of the working parts on your own.
It helps you learn how to integrate it into your parenting and family culture.
It helps homeschool parents feel confident and be efficient in their implementation of the philosophy and method.
Principled Academy—Transformation Testimonials
Q: Who is this membership for?
A: It’s primarily for Christian homeschool parents or grandparents who desire to keep the Bible at the center of life and learning and want their children to learn how to think and reason from Biblical principles. Secondarily, it’s for Christians who aren’t currently homeschooling but who would like to open up a Biblical-Principle Approach homeschool co-op.
Q: How is this different than FACE’s Summer Course (and Renewing the Mind course)?
A: This course is designed specifically for homeschoolers. This includes the implementation of the philosophy and method in the home as well as the homeschool. It also teaches parents the big picture and how all the parts fit and work together. Additionally, it’s designed for the busy homeschool parent (after all, you aren’t in the same environment as—nor do you have the same schedule as—a career teacher).
Q: How long is the course?
A: The course is 7-weeks long with an online community.
Q: How long is the membership?
A: The membership is 1-year long with an online community.
Q: Can I use your materials/course/membership with other individuals?
A: No, you may not. My materials and ideas are my intellectual property. When you purchase my materials/course/membership, they are for your immediate family’s use (i.e. your household). However, if you would like to go through my materials/course/membership with a group I’m happy to work with you. Contact me for pricing.
Q: What does the membership include?
A: The membership includes:
- the 7-week course, consisting of 3-4 video lessons per week
- content in the membership that deepens what is taught in the 7-week course
- printable course material
- printable assignment notebook pages
- course audio downloads for on-the-go
- access to recorded mentor sessions in case a member can’t make it to live sessions
- group mentoring in the group with Heather Hall (live Zoom calls)
- community for support and encouragement (not hosted on social media)
Q: What is required of members?
A: It doesn’t help members if they ‘ghost’ or ‘lurk’ in a community. In order for members to grow, they need to commit to and follow through with the lessons, assignments, participation in the community, ask questions, and encourage each other. Members need to remain in good standing (no missed payments) in order to be counted as a member.
Q: When will I get access?
A: Each weekly module is released in whole on Mondays. This allows you to work at your own pace each week. And, it prevents feelings of overwhelm.
Q: Is there a money back guarantee?
A: The ability to download the materials of this course and have forever access during the life of this course makes this course non-refundable.
Q: Does the course expire?
A: No, as a member in good standing you have unlimited access to the course that you buy/subscribe monthly to and you can work at your own pace, as long as it’s online.
Q: What happens if I decide to leave the membership and want to rejoin later?
A: If you leave the membership and decide to join again at a later time, you will have to join at the current price. The price is subject to change later on.
Q: What if I don’t use a computer much? Are just digital printable available of the course?
A: See pricing options below.
Q: What if I want the course but I don’t want the membership?
A: You may certainly use the course on its own. However, the membership offers bonuses, deepened content, community, and mentoring by Heather Hall.
Q: May I go through the course and then decide afterward if I want to join the membership?
A: Yes, you may. However, the course is built into the membership and modules are released on a weekly basis. Also, you will have to wait until the next time the doors open to join the membership.
Q: If I purchase the course and decide to join the membership later will the cost be prorated?
A: No, the cost will not be prorated.
